Stuart was born and raised in Perth’s northern suburbs. Stuart was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2021 after graduating from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2019 and completing his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2021.
After completing his Bachelor of Laws, Stuart commenced working as an Usher to a Judge of the District Court of Western Australia and later became an Associate to another Judge of the District Court. Whilst working at the District Court, Stuart was able to observe complex criminal hearings and gain an understanding as to the inner workings of the court system. In 2022, Stuart moved to the United Kingdom and later became a Registered Foreign Lawyer at a nationwide UK law firm in the Construction and Engineering Litigation department. During his time in the UK, he was also able to assist with Coroner Inquests and Fire Rescue Service Prosecutions.
Outside of the law, Stuart enjoys playing golf and watching the AFL. If he is not doing either of these, he is spending his downtime with his family and friends.
