Trent was born and raised in Perth’s southern suburbs. While studying law at UWA he worked as a researcher and analyst in private equity. Trent discovered his passion for criminal law and advocacy while successfully competing in the trial advocacy and mooting competitions at law school. Upon completing his law studies, Trent teamed up with Mark in the Father and Son family business Andrews Legal.
Trent commenced employment with Andrews Legal in 2011. He was admitted to the professional by the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2014. Trent has undertaken post-graduate studies in business administration at the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2020 he has held the position of General Manager.
Trent practices in all areas of State and Commonwealth criminal law. He has expertise in serious drug offences, money laundering, white collar offences, assaults, cybercrime, restraining orders, fisheries offences, extraordinary drivers licences and State Administrative Tribunal matters. Trent has worked with some of WA’s leading criminal barristers and judges.
Outside of the law, Trent’s hobbies include weightlifting, stock trading and overseas travel. Trent supports Manchester United in the English Premier League. He is an avid reader with a particular interest in Roman and modern history, legal history, business and investment strategy and the western classics. He enjoys public speaking, he is a member of Toastmasters Victoria Park.
